The Dr. Lois P. Rudnick Award
The Coalition for Public Education is pleased to present the Dr. Lois P. Rudnick Award and is now accepting applications.
Dr. Lois Rudnick was a long-time cultural historian and author of Southwestern literature in art and modernism, a teacher, advocator, and
community activist. Her greatest passion was mentoring younger scholars and educators.
Preference will be given to completed projects or works that in some way reflect these ideas and ideals.
The amount of the Award is $2,000
Application deadline is September 1, 2024
Selection will be made and announced no later than October 1, 2024
Application Requirements:
The applicant will submit a minimum two-page summary deliverable of the completed project or work to be eligible for “The Lois Rudnick Award” to include:
a. Title
b. Project description
c. Project beginning and ending dates/duration
d. Outcomes
Submit a resume, not to exceed 5 pages.
Provide names, affiliations, e-mails, and telephone numbers of two references.
Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree to apply for the award.
The application deadline is September 1, 2024, and the selection will be made and announced no later than October 1, 2024. All materials should be in the form of Word documents or PDF files. The awardee will be publicly recognized.
